ScholarWord Menu

MS-Word 2007/Win XP or MS-Word 2010/Windows 7

If you are using MS-Word 2007 on Windows XP or MS-Word 2010 on Windows 7, then you need to complete this simple process:

* Step 1: Right click the document and select the “Paragraph…” option

* Step 2:  In the spacing section, change the After: to “0 pt”, set line spacing to Single, and check the box that says “Don’t add space between paragraphs of the same style”

Note: Relax - we know that your paper most likely needs to be double-spaced so ScholarWord will change it back when needed.

* Step 3: Click the “Default…” button at the bottom of the form to save your setting. This prompt will appear, select “Yes”.

If you’re running MS-Word 2010 on Windows 7 the window will look like this; select the button “All documents based on the Normal Template?” and click “Ok”:

You’re done!
